2025–26 Regional Patch Winners Across USA Fencing's Six Regions

USA Fencing announced 659 regional patches for the 2025–26 season, earned by fencers from 175 clubs across the country. The patches recognize the most successful Youth, Cadet, and Junior fencers in each of USA Fencing's six regions, based on how they performed at regional tournaments.

How regional patches are earned
Patches are awarded in gold, silver, and bronze to the top three finishers in each weapon and age group, within each region. That structure means a strong regional season — not a single good weekend — is what puts a patch in the mail.
For Junior and Cadet fencers, the winners were determined by regional point standings immediately following Junior Olympics. USA Fencing also awards patches to the top regional performers in Division IA, Division II, and Veteran competition.
Six regions, one recognition system
Because the standings are regional rather than national, the patch program gives fencers a realistic goal close to home. A saber fencer in our area competes against the same regional field all season, and consistent results at RYCs and ROCs are exactly what the standings reward.
Clubs with the most patches
USA Fencing listed the clubs that produced the most patch winners for 2025–26:
- Globus Fencing Academy — 23
- Space City Fencing Academy — 22
- Alliance Fencing Academy — 20
- Oregon Fencing Alliance — 19
- Renaissance Fencing Club — 18
- Olympic Epee Masters — 17
- Rain City Fencing Center — 17
When patches arrive
Patches were scheduled to be mailed in September. USA Fencing published the complete list of individual winners on its announcement page — we are not reproducing names here, so check the official source to see every recipient.
What this means for a saber family
If your fencer is working toward a regional patch, the practical takeaway is simple: enter the regional events on your section's calendar, fence the full season rather than cherry-picking, and track the standings after Junior Olympics. Regional point standings are also the foundation for a lot of other USA Fencing pathways, so the same work pays off more than once.
